This minimum varies in accordance with the policies taken out but it is usually EUR 15 000.

What documentation must be filled in?

Your financial adviser, our partner distributor, fills with you a subscription documentation.

Subscription documentation:

  • Information Notice: this notice sets forth the main features of the contract you decide to enter into and, in particular, provides details on the charges that will be deducted under the terms of your policy.
  • General conditions: a legal document which regulates the operation of the contract and all its modes of fulfilment.
  • The application form or insurance proposal: the document by means of which you provide the company with all the information necessary for your policy to be issued in accordance with your wishes (determination of the insured, the beneficiaries, the amount to be invested and its distribution, etc.). It is an insurance proposal which you submit to us.
  • The disclaimer (included in the insurance proposal): this disclaimer or caution must be signed by subscribers residing outside the following countries:
    • Belgium
    • Spain
    • France
    • Italy
    • Luxembourg

This disclaimer informs the subscriber of the possibility that the life insurance or capitalisation contract entered into with Euresa-life may not be treated as a life insurance policy by the administrative authorities of his country of residence.

  • Information mandate: document by means of which you authorise, should you wish to do so, your adviser to receive information of a contractual or commercial nature concerning your contract. Only by signing this mandate may the company send information concerning your contract to your insurance broker.
  • Arbitrage mandate: document by means of which you authorize, should you wish to do so, your consultant to carry out any arbitrage of funds under the terms of your contract. If the company is the holder of this mandate, it will accept arbitrage orders transmitted by your insurance broker.
  • Client profile: the purpose of this document is to enable us to find out more about you, understand your investment objectives and determine the origin of the funds you entrust to us. This identification and analysis forms part of the company's professional obligations relating to combating money laundering and financing terrorism.

These documents should be returned to the company duly filled in and signed, and accompanied by a copy of the identification documentation of the policyholder and the insured person (passport and identity card only, with a clear and recent photograph).

Issue of the policy

Euresa-life issues your policy in accordance with your wishes on the day the risk to be insured by the company is accepted. Acceptance of the contract is conditional upon receipt by the insurance company of all the documents necessary for assessment of the application and effective credit of the premium to the insurance company's account. Your contract is then sent to you and you have a period of 30 days during which you may cancel it.
